I've really enjoyed reading Tim's recent blogs. They are well thought out, informative and inspiring. I will be keeping a careful eye on them from now on for more useful information and also to view the pictures. I love the pictures of your snowdrops, definitely one of my favorites at this time of year. For the first signs of Spring or to add a touch of perfume to a cold January day I really llike the scent of Lonicrea fragrantissima which is a winter/spring flowering honeysuckle. I'm now waiting for Clematis armandii to flower so that when I walk out into the garden it will be the first thing I smell; lovely.

As a timber building manufacturer I can collaborate Tim's view that extending the house into the garden makes sound economic sense and also is environmentally friendly. There are so many uses that a room in the garden can be put to that can save hours of travelling; to work, to the gym, to the studio, to the music room or just for a bit of peace and quiet. At the end of the day you can lock the door and go back into the house and forget all about it until the next time. If you look at Tim's website you will also see that one of his buildings in your garden will add value to your house. Great stuff Tim, keep it up.
