How is the fact that I have won a Gold Medal for a show garden important for you?

It’s all very well and good me winning a Gold Medal – an achievement I am extremely proud of – but what good is that to you if you are considering commissioning a garden designer? On the face of it it is an accolade for a piece of self indulgent design resulting in a garden that won me the prize money!

There is a complex brief that requires very close attention, carefully monitored budgets, close inspection of planting plans and plant quality. Marks are given for creative interpretation of the brief, quality of execution and planting. The overall look, feel and unity of the garden are all considered and marked. This makes it pretty tough to do well because judges are notoriously difficult to please and they know what pitfalls to look out for! Winning a Gold Medal is therefore a fantastic achievement.

With my skill and expertise I guide you through the brief ensuring I capture all the relative information. I give assistance with the thought process to ensure you understand the importance of the information and to ensure that at all times this is your garden not mine! It needs to meet your exacting requirements. This brief is absolutely critical and to ensure I have correctly understood your requirements I give you a copy of the brief to check and sign up to before any design work is commenced. When you are 100% happy – I get to work.
